The Future of Fragrance Comes into Focus at in-cosmetics Asia 2026: New Fragrance Zone
As fragrance becomes a powerful tool for emotion, storytelling, and product differentiation, in-cosmetics Asia, organised by RX, is set to return to BITEC, Bangkok, from 3–5 November 2026 with the landmark launch of its all-new Fragrance Zone.
Fragrance is rapidly establishing itself as one of beauty's fastest-growing categories. The global fragrance market is currently valued at US$80 billion, expanding at 9% annually, while the Asia Pacific (APAC) fragrance market mirrors this trajectory with a projected compound annual growth rate of 9.54% between 2026 and 2031. To bridge the gap between burgeoning visitor interest and supplier availability—where fragrance rose from the 16th most popular ingredient category in 2024 to the 8th in 2025—the new Fragrance Zone has been engineered to showcase more than 50 international suppliers.
Discovering the Next Generation of Scent Innovation
Once regarded primarily as a functional ingredient, fragrance has evolved into the cornerstone of product identity and self-expression. Across APAC, consumers increasingly link scent with grooming, individuality, confidence, and originality, driving robust demand for formulations that harmonise emotional connection with high-level product performance.
Leading global suppliers are primed to debut breakthrough launches at the event. LUZI will introduce its new Urban Forest fragrance collection, tailored to meet rising consumer demand for wellness-led bathing rituals. Meanwhile, Bell Flavors & Fragrances will present an exclusive consumer insight showcase exploring territories centered on escapism, emotional wellbeing, authenticity, self-expression, and joy.
Exhibition highlights also feature Ogawa & Co., Japan's oldest flavors and fragrances specialist, highlighting long-lasting fragrance technologies, cooling solutions, and natural ingredients sourced directly from Japan. Great Nation will exhibit versatile formulations spanning personal care, homecare, and wellness, complemented by Kanha Nature Oils showcasing an extensive botanical portfolio of essential oils and hydrosols.

Expanding Beyond Beauty into Homecare and Pet Care
While personal care remains the dominant application, scent is driving major expansion into adjacent lifestyle sectors. In homecare, brands are harnessing sophisticated fragrance solutions to elevate everyday cleaning and reinforce consumer perceptions of quality. In pet care, advanced formulators are creating specialized scents that balance effective odour management with animal safety and wellbeing.
